After completing mediation and reaching an agreement on the terms of your divorce, there's still one step left in the process: preparing and filing your Final Documents.
The preparation and filing of Final Documents can only be done by a licensed attorney or a Licensed Paralegal Practitioner (LPP). The Utah Divorce Clinic partners with attorneys and LPPs in Utah to make the process as cost-effective and fast as possible.
What documents does the attorney or LPP have to prepare?
How much does it cost to have Final Documents prepared?
At the Utah Divorce Clinic, we strive to make the divorces process as affordable as possible. After you've signed your final agreement, our staff can refer you to a Licensed Paralegal Practitioner (LPP) who can file the documents for a flat fee of $500. They can also assist you with paying the Court's filing fee of $333. Alternatively, if you have your own attorney, you can have your attorney file the final documents.
