Rob Jepson, JD

Owner, Mediator

Rob is a Court-Rostered Domestic Mediator and Master Mediator. He holds a JD from the University of Utah (2018), where he focused on family law, mediation, and negotiation.

After earning his law degree, Rob worked in the non-profit sector for several years providing affordable legal services to low-income families.

He began mediating full-time in 2022, focusing exclusively on divorce and family law matters. In his private practice, he focused primarily on high-income, high-conflict cases in which both parties had full legal representation.

Rob started the Utah Divorce Clinic to help more people complete the divorce process in a low-conflict, low-cost environment. He believes that many cases can be resolved through simple problem solving and collaboration, without having to go to Court. He strives to help every individual express their needs during mediation and find workable solutions to any challenges arising from the divorce.

Rob is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution. He also volunteers with Utah Dispute Resolution, the District Courts, and serves on the 3rd District Co-Parenting Roster.

As the father of a child with severe special needs, he strives to be sensitive to the unique challenges arising from divorces involving special needs children.

Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and four children, plays and coaches soccer, and writes and performs with his 60's-inspired psychedelic rock band.
