How Much Does Divorce Mediation Cost?

The cost of divorce is a common concern. When you're already looking at dividing assets, splitting bank accounts, and setting up a whole new household, the last thing you want to think about is the cost of the divorce process itself.

Fortunately, the cost of a mediated divorce is about 90% less expensive than the cost of a traditional divorce, with attorneys.

While a traditional divorce (where both sides hire attorneys) can easily cost $10,000 per side, the average mediated divorce costs $2,500 or less, total. This is because mediation skips many of the steps that are required in a traditional, contested divorce.

At the Utah Divorce Clinic, our goal is to make the divorce process as simple and affordable as possible.
